30 Days of RFK all throughout June

Starting today, June 1, 2018, I’m bringing back the popular series that debuted with New City Stage Company, where I am the playwright in residence, on Facebook last December where we featured a new post with archival video and photos pf Bobby Kennedy to celebrate the upcoming anniversary of his Presidential Campaign. Well, it’s finally arrived, 50 years since he won the California primary and was on his way to securing the Democrats nomination.

Although things ended tragically in June of 1968, we are using June 2018 to celebrate the work he did throughout his life and that the RFK Human Rights organization is continuing today.  Please check out the amazing work this organization is doing by clicking on the name.

With all of the books, documentaries, films, and social media buzz around his legacy, I thought that this would be the perfect time to remind ourselves how wonderful this country can be when leaders have the best intentions for all citizens in mind.

Despite the current state of our politics, I believe looking back at what has made America great (and still does!) can give us all a tiny ripple of hope.
